How to get there

By land - Porto Seguro is 62 kilometers from Eunápolis,via BR 101 interchange, its main access route, and is 680 kilometers from Salvador , 600 kilometers from Vitória, 940 kilometers from Belo Horizonte, 1,200 kilometers from Rio de Janeiro, 1,580 kilometers from São Paulo, and 1,580 kilometers from Brasília.


Bus lines - Via BR 101 through Itamarajú, and via BR 116, through Nanuque. Empresa Gontijo connects Belo Horizonte/Porto Seguro/Belo Horizonte daily. São Geraldo connects Porto Seguro, Rio de Janeiro daily, Porto Seguro/Belo Horizonte daily, Porto Seguro/São Paulo daily, Porto Seguro/Goiânia and Brasília, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Águia Branca connects Porto Seguro/Salvador daily.

By air - Riosul and VASP have regular flights to Porto Seguro. Riosul has daily flights from São Paulo and Salvador, as well as flights with immediate connections from Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Rio de Janeiro and Ilhéus. On Saturday and Sunday Riosul has daily flights from Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte as well. Vasp has flights on Saturdays and Sundays from São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Salvador. Various agencies offer charter flights to Porto Seguro, from São Paulo and Buenos Aires.

By ship Since 1995, several companies have included Porto Seguro on their cruise routes. Passengers disembark in Porto Seguro.
